Christina has a B.S. and M.Ed. in Education. She has taught for 13 years in GCISD. She's currently teaching 5th grade in the ASPIRE Academy, which is an academy for the highly gifted. Teaching highly gifted students has allowed Christina to find her passion: challenging all learners with voice, choice, and differentiation. She has presented on differentiation at the Conference for the Advancement of Science Teachers (CAST) and 6-hour GT updates for district staff members. Christina was awarded Teacher of the Year for her campus this year as well as the Elementary Teacher of the Year for GCISD.
