During the session, teachers will learn how to utilize three apps (Baiboard, iMotion HD, and Educreations) in a collaborative manner. The participants will use problem solving strategies to complete an assigned challenge. At the end of the session, they will discuss ideas for implementing their learning in the classroom. Participants will need an ipad for this session.

  • Outcomes Attendees will come away with knowledge on how to utilize collaborative technology in the classroom to help develop the students critical thinking skills, Attendees will come away with ideas on how to engage students using technology while developing students' problem solving skills, Attendees will gain insight on designing experiences for their students and how to blend technology in the learning process in a manner that is focused on content and not simply technology for its own sake
  • Walk-Away Products Participants will walk away with a team project developed during the session utilizing three collaborative apps. The purpose of the session is to include concepts of flexible thinking and embed them within XXI technologies and skills that can be implemented in the classroom.
