Do you feel like we don't have enough time to teach Science?  Do you want to find out how to foster problem solving skills while building all areas of literacy? Come find out how to approach reading and writing tasks from a stance of scientific inquiry. Learn strategies to drive content knowledge acquisition as well as scientific thinking. Foster these skills through the effective utilization of rich text, digital media, and high-yield reading strategies, leading to critical analysis skills applicable to written text, science labs, media and more! Access to Discovery Education Science Techbook will be provided and time for development of a model lesson which includes digital media, literacy strategies and more will be provided.

Materials: Recommend participants bring a laptop, tablet or other internet enabled device, ear buds, and their creativity.
