How are we truly preparing our students for work and life in a locally and globally collaborative world? And, how can we as educators use available tools to strengthen our professional connections, collaboration and coteaching approaches? Participants will gain differentiated strategies for effective professional and student collaboration, create digital products and plan for roles, goals, and authentic communication - 21st Century style! Digital tools sample: wikis, blogs, social networks, backchannels, and ios apps for collaborative creation.

  • Walk-Away Products Participants will walk away with a list of resources, networking connections and access to a collaborative wiki. Participants will also create a personal product for collaborative professional or student communication (i.e., blog site, Skype for education lesson plan, class backchannel, co-teaching Google doc, collaborative digital story, etc.)
