Dr. Andy Berning, Chief Information and Technology Officer for Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD will share the processes and instruments they use to ensure accountability in their technology program. Dr. Berning will cover review strategies prior to the purchase of technology, evaluation strategies after technology is in place, and intervention strategies if things aren’t going as planned. This is not a highly technical session and will be interactive in nature. During the session, attendees will be performing a Digital Review on a technology of their choice. The target audience is district leadership with an interest in making sure digital products have been vetted and evaluated to ensure maximum success in technology integration.
