Kelly Pauling is a life long learner committed to closing the achievement gap. She strives to inspire educators to consider how effective use of digital media can simultaneously increase student engagement as well as the cognitive demands of assignments and provide success for all students.
Kelly has been with Discovery Education since 2011 as Director of Professional Development. Prior to this position, she served as the Director of Curriculum Services at Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 (CIU20) for six years. Areas of expertise include school improvement, adolescent literacy, educational technology and professional development services. Prior to that appointment, she worked as a staff developer, curriculum specialist, and teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
